CAKE SMASH PREP GUIDE

Congratulations on getting to this milestone! Please review the very important details below on what to do and bring for your session to help make it a success! ✨

WHAT TO EXPECT?

Young children can definitely be unpredictable. Please come to your session optimistic but understanding that your child can always have an off day. We will do all the things to encourage your little one to have fun! Music, toys and all the silly faces. Keep in mind that your child may be most comfortable playing with you, so please be prepared to act silly right along with me. If you know there is a song that your child loves to hear, feel free to let me know and I can add it to my playlist. It's always lots of fun!

WHAT DOES CLIENT BRING?

Cake (Optional)

Non messy snacks | This helps a ton!

Towel

At least one outfit to get messy in if smashing cake.

CAKE

You will be providing your own cake for your session. I have a variety of cake stands so no need to bring a stand unless you'd like to.

OUTFITS

Outfit that will be used while your child is smashing the cake will be provided by you.

You may have up to 3 outfit changes during your session. Neutral outfits sizes 6-18 months are available for use for the clean part of the portraits. Parent's may bring their own outfits for all 3 looks if desired.

Should you forget to bring a smash outfit there will be a fee added to your session.

FAMILY ADD ON

This optional add on is for immediate family to the child. Mom, Dad & siblings only. You will provide your own outfits for this portion. These photos are taken on the ground in front of your decorated setup.

WHEN WILL I GET MY PHOTOS?

There is a 3 week turn around for final completion of your gallery.
