Newborn Session Prep Guide

BEFORE YOUR SESSION

If your baby arrives before or expected to be delivered after your due date, please let me know. It is important to try and photograph baby by or before the time frame discussed at booking.

Please review and understand your prep guide to keep proper expectations for your session. ✨

WHEN IS THE BALANCE DUE?

Your remaining balance is due the day of your session.

WHO CAN COME?

Two adults only + siblings of newborn.

SETUPS?

All of your baby’s setups are preplanned by the photographer. Should there be a special request of something you see on my website or my social media pages please let me know. Requests need to be discussed at least 48 hours prior to your session to be sure this is planned into the appointment.

I am a “baby-led” photographer which means I will only pose your baby with what they are comfortable with. Some poses may not agree with your little one and that is okay. We will find the best options to get you a beautiful gallery.

CAN I BRING PROPS?

I do not allow outside props or outfits as I wish to maintain my style of Newborn Photography.

HOW LONG WILL THE APPOINTMENT BE?

Please be aware that your session should last between 2-3 hours (If expecting twins expect approximately 4 hours.)

SIBLINGS?

Please bring quiet things to keep siblings busy. Tablet, toys, coloring, snacks, etc.

WHEN DO I FEED BABY?

We want baby to be fed at the beginning of your session. Typically, new babies are on a 2-3 hour feeding schedule. Due to the nature of your visit, your baby may want to be offered an additional feeding before their normal eating time. Please be prepared to provide several feedings for your baby.

WHAT IF I'M LATE?

After 30 minutes late to an appointment the photographer has the right to reschedule with a new deposit.

WHEN WILL I GET THE PHOTOS?

There is a 3 week turn around for final completion of your gallery.

. The photographer will choose the best images from your session to be included in your gallery. The number of images and setups is based on the package you chose.

FINAL IMAGES

Your final images will be selected and edited by your photographer. She will choose the best images taken to create your final gallery.
